Remi and Noelle d’Arda first stumbled upon cosplay in 2011. The shy, geeky, sisters decided to brave socialization and attended a small, local, anime convention. This opened a whole new world of fandom and they immediately fell in love with cosplay. They threw themselves into the art form, heart and soul, and never looked back.

 

Since then, they’ve made many award winning costumes that have been recognized at major competitions and events across the country. As self-taught artists, they are proficient in a wide range of skills and techniques, developed and honed over years of experience; including sewing, 3D modeling and printing, sculpting, casting, leather-craft, wig-craft, photography, editing and more. 

Remi and Noelle have presented panels and workshops on a variety of these skills and enjoy helping others learn. They’ve appeared at conventions as guests, panelists, and competition judges, and also have leadership-role experience coordinating and running cosplay competitions.

Outside of cosplay, the sisters also have a passion for fitness and physical movement. They both have experience in artistic gymnastics and martial arts; holding black belts in Tae Kwon Do, as well as, competitive awards in both disciplines. Together, they also have over 25 years of combined training in classical ballet.

Other interests include video games, reading, PC building, and anything horse-related.

With unwavering drive, Remi and Noelle passionately strive to improve their skills and expand their knowledge; continuously pushing to be a little better tomorrow than they are today.
